Although many people are inspired by movies, and there may most certainly have been some notable murders that could have been inspired by Saw’s fictional killer Jigsaw… there is no real Jigsaw killer. The Saw franchise, no matter how creative, is not based upon a true story.

Jigsaw is described as a mysterious person who kidnaps people he believes take their lives for granted and subjects them to “tests”, usually mechanical devices rigged to maim or kill the subjects if they fail to complete it within a certain time period.
Cecil Adams‘ Test Convinced more than ever, John started to create a series of tests in order to test how much others appreciate their lives. The first victim was Cecil Adams, who was responsible for the loss of his child.
It was, I felt, a disservice to this film and previous films to try to do that. Well, there you have it. Darren Lynn Bousman simply didn’t want to and it didn’t feel right for him for this particular movie. Though as he told ComicBook, it was most certainly in discussions a ton during the filming.

Movie maniacs like Jason Voorhees have grown considerably over the years and so has Michael Myers. In fact, Michael is at the taller end of the spectrum for masked maniacs. Original Michael actor Nick Castle comes in at 5 feet 10 inches, while the newest actor comes in at 6 feet 3 inches.
Both serial killers are extremely strong and durable, capable of taking umpteen amounts of punishment. But while Myers is still a freak of nature, Jason can easily win this fight. Jason is physically stronger than Myers and can take more damage.
