Paco Walls, 18 years old, is next in the line. Paco is known for his raspy, soulful sound. Paco could win the attention of any crowd with his charm and his peculiar voice.
“We were just sitting down to eat when all of a sudden my dad rushes over and tells us to get on the speaker phone,” recalls 16-year-old Ahjah, one fourth of the critically acclaimed family phenomenon The Walls Group, which includes 19-year-old sister Rhea, 18-year-old brother Paco and 23-year-old brother Darrel.
From deep in the heart of Texas comes The Walls Group. Darrel, Rhea, Paco and Ahjah are the singing four of eight children born to Roger and Alicia Walls. With musically inclined parents, these kids could not escape the melodies and harmonies that coursed throughout the household and seeped into their souls.
Raised in a musical family, Darrel, Rhea, Paco, and Ahjah Walls (four of eight siblings) formed the group in 2009. The quartet debuted in 2012 with an independently released self-titled album that registered on the Billboard gospel chart.

Forty years ago, on Nov. 30, 1979, the English progressive rock band Pink Floyd released its 11th studio album, “The Wall.”
Roger Waters says he and his former Pink Floyd bandmate David Gilmour are “not mates” and “never were”.
The surviving members of Pink Floyd — David Gilmour, Nick Mason, Roger Waters and Richard Wright — said they were “very upset and sad to learn of Syd Barrett’s death.” “Syd was the guiding light of the early band lineup and leaves a legacy which continues to inspire,” they said in a statement.

Now Pink Floyd have received an accolade to match the enormity of their sound and performances – by being named the biggest band of all time, ahead of acts such as Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones.
Anyway, David from Detroit nailed it perfectly, it’s about a record company that doesn’t know much (“By the way, which one’s Pink?”) or care about the band and just wants them to make money (“We’re gonna ride the gravy train,”).
In April 1968, Barrett was ousted from the band amid speculation of mental illness and his excessive use of psychedelic drugs. He began a brief solo career in 1969 with the single “Octopus” and followed with the albums The Madcap Laughs (1970) and Barrett (1970), recorded with the aid of several members of Pink Floyd.
Syd died at home in Cambridge on July 7, 2006, from pancreatic cancer, reportedly leaving £1.7million to his siblings. David Gilmour said of his death: “We are very sad to say that Roger Keith Barrett – Syd – has passed away.
